Karl has been in the beverage industry for over 20 years. For 16 of those 20 years, he spent the summers in the restaurant industry on Mackinac Island and took advantage of the colder months to travel across the country and learn about the most popular cuisines and beverages from coast to coast. His move to Detroit was prompted by the growing hospitality industry and his interest in managing a larger beverage program. Karl is currently studying for his sommelier certification and constantly expanding his love and knowledge of wine.
