“The Lutfy Family first stumbled upon this wine while dining at PRESS Restaurant in The Napa Valley. They soon discovered that it was produced by Rory Williams, son of Julie Johnson, Winemaker at Tres Sabores. The Calder Wine Company is known for producing wine from grape varietals that usually go unnoticed. The 2012 Charbono is produced from 100% Bonardo giving it bright Gamay like qualities. It is medium bodied with notes of black cherry and plum on the palate. Food pairings for this wine include grilled lamb, beef or veal.
