“The “Silex” from Domaine Didier Dagueneau is one of my go to summer whites, and 2012 was a truly exceptional vintage. The winemaker utilizes biodynamic farming methods as well as barrel fermentation to craft this incredible small production wine. The wine has concentrated notes of apricot with hints of grapefruit. It has great minerality and crushed stone flavors balanced with a strong backbone of acidity. I would suggest this wine with seafood, grilled vegetables, or traditional Lebanese mezza.”
