Tiezzi
2010 Brunello di Montalcino
“Poggio Cerrino”

TASTING NOTES FROM TIEZZI
“Brunello di Montalcino is made using traditional methods and is naturally stabilized. No filtering takes place before bottling. The grapes ferment in wooden vats for over 20 days. This Brunello ages for 44 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. It undergoes no physical/chemical treatments and spends over 4 months in the bottle before being released for sale. The flavor is full, harmonious with sensations of ripe fruits of the forest. Tannic with a lingering aftertaste. Serve with tasty dishes; roast and barbecued meat, mature cheeses and dry patisserie.”

TASTING NOTES FROM DEVIN MUYLLE
Vertical Detroit – Certified Sommelier

“Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy’s most prestigious wines and the 2010 vintage was a pinnacle year in Tuscany. This wine definitely overachieves for is price! It is elegant in style with intense aromatics, firm masculine tannins and tart cherry on the palate.
